OccuWEB

OccuWEB is a health surveillance record storage and archival system provided by Perth-based specialist occupational medicine company OccuMED.

Brief

To build a robust web-based system that gives multiple user groups the ability to enter, store and access medical data, regardless of location and platform.

Our Solution

• Medical staff - Medical staff have the ability to perform numerous tasks with completed questionnaires and test responses. They can:
• create customised questionnaires and tests
• easily generate recalls
• generate letters and emails to send to respondents
• create graphs based on test results
• search, filter and export results
• Employers - Employers are able to log in to view their employees’ health results. If the need arises, employers can create multiple accounts for numerous internal departments.
• Employees - Employees can complete health surveys online through an easy-to-use, web based user interface. Once completed, they can gain access to their medical records for future reference.
• Data hosting - The system is hosted by Brown Beagle Software at the East Perth data centre. Our close proximity to the data centre ensures that access to the system is very fast. (Find out more about our web management and web hosting services.)

Result

Currently the OccuWEB site successfully manages and stores the medical information of hundreds of employees spread across metropolitan and regional Western Australia. Where previously, the collection of this data was labour-intensive and very costly, the OccuWEB system has streamlined the process - making it more viable for businesses.
